H trail

Grade: 5

Length: 4 km

Duration : It will depends to great extent on you vehicles, experience level and whether you will have to do recoveries. The trail has been completed only once so far and it was done by a group of very experienced drivers with very capable vehicles. It took almost 7 hrs to get 11 vehicles through the trails and everybody was very tired after that. only 3 of the 11 vehicles managed to climb the Moon rock obstacle and the others opted to either do the, also difficult, Bypass or get winched up the Moon rock.

Requirements:

• 4x4 vehicle with good ground clearance and Low range with diff lock rear and front or

• or traction control that is suited for extreme off-roading.

• 2 or more vehicles as there is no mobile signal and chances of recovery needed is likely.

• Recovery gear is therefore advisable, Sand bags, Maxtracks or similar devices as well.

• H trail is for the 4x4 enthusiast who wants to take on the extreme challenge. The video of my first drive up will give some idea of the level of difficulty, though this is still on the easy part of the trail.
